Continuing my series of pretending tumblr polls are methodologically sound:
US Americans: are you going to vote in this year’s presidential election?
Yes, I am going to vote/I have already voted
No, I am not going to vote
I have not yet decided whether I will vote
I live in the US but cannot legally vote (<18yo, not a citizen, etc)
I live in the US and can legally vote but I am unable to (explain in tags?)
I am not a resident of the United States/See Results
(+ bonus for the tags: how many of your friends and family do you think will vote, regardless of who they’re voting for.
And non-usamericans how are you feeling about the American election? 👀)
PLEASE REBLOG TO SPREAD BEFORE ELECTION DAY 🇺🇸🗳️🗳️
#yup i’m voting #not sure how imma get there yet but that’s ok
Try searching for “rides to the polls [your city or state] 2024” and you may find all kinds of local groups offering rides! For instance, here’s a post that came up when I googled for rides to the polls in Connecticut:
Ledyard Democratic Town Committee
For those who use rideshares, Lyft is going to offer 50% off on Election Day, and Lime scooters and e-bikes will be free from October 29 to Election Day with the code VOTE2024!
Uber is also doing 50% off to the polls on Election Day! I recommend checking both apps and using whichever has a cheaper fare
