To everyone who voted Democrat for the first time, every former trump supporter who voted for Harris, everyone who voted for the first time, every Republican who did not want this result and voted for Harris, thank you.
I got a text from my cousin who has voted third party for decades who voted for a Democrat for the first time yesterday.
My aunt who voted for trump in 2016 and who’s husband is a proud MAGA sent me a Snapchat late last night saying she is one of the women who secretly voted for Harris.
A former friend from college who used to be deep in the Republican party posted on Facebook yesterday that he voted for Harris.
The “if you voted for Trump unfollow me” posts are returning, but given then general makeup of your average tumblr user I think there’s a different message I’d like to give.
If you didn’t vote because “both parties are the same” or “it won’t make a difference” or because Kamala wasn’t the pure and perfect leader that you wanted or you “didn’t want blood on your hands”, honestly whether or not you follow me doesn’t make a damned bit of difference. But I want you to look. Take a good look at the despair around you right now. And every godforsaken thing that follows I want you to fucking look. Look and know that you could have helped prevent it. We still haven’t recovered from his last four years, the world hasn’t fucking recovered, and now we’re staring down the barrel of god knows how many more years and a river of fucking blood to come along with it.
But your pride and your principles were more important to you than the actual real fucking world we live in.
I hope, if nothing else, that you can take this in. I hope you learn. I hope you grow. I hope you find it in you to realize that in this country they soak our hands in blood the second we take our first breath and the only thing that matters then is what you fucking do with them. What you fight for. Who you fight for. Who you defend.
I hope you wake up. And you step up. And you fucking fight.
But until then. Don’t you fucking dare look away.

I’m seeing people, including content creators, who were loudly advocating that people abstain from voting because of Palestine. And now they’re crying and sad because the Bad Guy got elected. Who’da thunk? But you stood on your principles, right?
Also, I’m looking forward to seeing accelerationists start the Grand Revolution any time now. Cuz this is what the plan was, right? No? Too worried about your safety and the safety of your family now?
And forget about running away to another country. Only privileged Americans who grew up not having to apply for a visitor’s visa to visit another country would assume they could just up and move to another country with no language and no in-demand skills and no contacts.

Bomb threats at polling places:
This claim is legit, as well as the source being from russian email domains. No actual bombs were placed or set off.
3 incidents of burning ballot boxes have been confirmed for this election in Portland, Oregon and one in Vancouver, Washington, both of which are suspected to be from the same individual. Republican and Democrat officials have spoken out against this, ballot boxes were guarded after the incidents started, and fire suppression systems inside the ballot boxes saved the majority of the ballots, except for one box where 488 ballots were damaged due to a malfunction of the fire suppression system.
No fires were confirmed in Georgia, despite repeated claims that most of the fires were in Georgia. Georgia changed their election laws in 2021 in regards to absentee votes. Ballot boxes have been notably targetted for election conspiracy and mistrust. Take this into account when you see outcry about ballot boxes in any way.
Votes not being counted:
The screenshots im seeing particularly note California, which is the state with the largest amount of registered voters. California is also dealing with massive wildfires rn. Its gonna take a couple days, and the election isnt officially over yet. Calm down

I think Amanda fully believed she and Sarek were dating for weeks or months before he realized that she thought that.
Like, Sarek is thinking he’s doing SUCH a good job in Human Diplomacy, he has made A Human Friend. They do activities together, consume meals together, communicate outside of work functions in an informal fashion. Amanda makes an effort to show him Human culture and landmarks that are more likely to appeal to a Vulcan and is considerate of his different physiology in a way most Humans usually forget to be. She doesn’t touch him without warning but still somehow uses body language to convey to other Humans that they are together on their activities. She gives him lots of signs of Human comfort and intimacy without pushing too hard at his Vulcan boundaries. He’s Succeeding at Human socializing!
Meanwhile Amanda has like. Introduced him to her parents. Taken him to friends’ weddings. Done super obvious This Is A Date activities with him, only tailored to accomodate Vulcan preferences about physical contact and emotional displays. SHE thinks she is doing So Good at Wooing The Vulcan. Sometimes he willingly touches her when they are out in public, to like, keep them from getting separated, or pull her out of the path of danger or discomfort, which as far as she knows is like Vulcan First Base.
But also she is a Human woman they have been dating for months and taking it slow for her Vulcan beau is beginning to grow…somewhat frustrating! A little! Like she enjoys spending time with him but also! She would sure like to touch him more! Maybe kiss him! She would even settle for feeling up his hands the way Vulcans do because she has gotten so preoccupied with his hands since they’ve been dating, she feels like a 19th century maiden, it’s insane.
So she casually broaches the subject of whether or not Vulcans engage in sexual activity outside of Pon Farr (when they’re having a quiet evening alone in one of their apartments, obviously, you don’t have a sex talk with your very shy boyfriend in public) and Sarek is like. Well that’s a very intimate topic, Amanda, why do you ask? Is there a Vulcan you are interested in pursuing a romantic relationship with?
And she’s just like What.
And he’s like (gently condescending) That sort of question could imply a “come-on”, as you Humans would say.
