Like the title says, I’ll be releasing one new print design per day til the 7th, at which point I’ll do the annual sale I always do, where I knock 25% off of EVERYTHING IN THE SHOP that isn’t custom work!
The sale will last a month, so the release-a-day thing is mainly just to keep that countdown on everyone’s radar by the time it starts.
As always, all prints are digital prints, with the gold ink done by hand and the shipping is based on postage fees. The sale lasts the month of November because shipping out of Canada during the holiday season is PARTICULARLY heinous so I like to have a month’s worth of reminder time
So without further ado, here’s the first design on the shop!

The Case of the Missing 11 Million Votes
“Where did 11 million votes go?”
Some of the missing 11 million votes will most likely “appear” when Western states, especially California, finally finish counting their votes.
Still, the turnout in the 2020 election was enormous. Undoubtedly some of the missing 11 million votes were due to people who made an effort to vote in 2020 deciding to sit out the 2024 election–for all the reasons mentioned below.
LIES AND HALF-TRUTHS CHANGED THE PERCEPTIONS OF TWO PRESIDENCIES. Since 2020, Fox News and the right-wing media have spread lies and half-truths to convince many Americans that Trump was a much better president than he actually was. They also convinced many Americans that the Biden-Harris administration was much worse than it actually was.
To put into perspective just how distorted these impressions of the two presidencies have become, compare them to how prominent presidential historians ranked Biden as the 14th best presidentand Trump as the worst presidentin U.S. history.
So how did the right-wing media convince so many Americans that Trump was a better president that Biden?
RIGHT-WING MEDIA “REWROTE” TRUMP’S FIRST TERM: Fox News and right-wing media created an alternate reality where Trump’s first term was an unqualified success. First, they ignored the fact that the success of the first two years of Trump’s economy was actually the success of Obama’s economy (it takes about two years for new administration policies to have an impact on the economy).
They then excused Trump’s incompetent handling of the COVID pandemic, and instead blamed the 2020 tanking of the US economy on a worldwide pandemic rather than Trump’s mismanagement of the U.S. response to the pandemic.
And because right-wing media pushed Trump’s Big Lie that the 2020 election was “rigged,” they justified Trump’s behavior on January 6th, played down how violent the insurrection was, and played up conspiracies about it.
THE BIDEN ECONOMY: Given the two year gap between when administration policies are implemented and their effect on the economy, the poor economy of the first two years of the Biden administration was actually due to Trump’s economic policies and the pandemic.* When Biden’s policies finally had an impact, the US economy became “the envy of the world” in terms of it’s post-pandemic performance. Yet, right-wing media and Trump claimed that the positive U.S. economic figures were not real, and kept saying the economy was awful.
INFLATION: Even as inflation came down, Fox News & the right-wing media didn’t explain to consumers that just because the inflation rate gets lowered doesn’t mean that prices go down to where they were before.It just means that they don’t continue to increase as quickly.**
VIOLENT CRIME: Fox News and Trump have continued to lie by claiming violent crime in the cities has continued to go up. In fact, violent crime in the citiesspiked during the pandemic(including on Trump’s watch), but has come way down in the past year or so.
IMMIGRATION: And yes, there had been a surge in migrants under Biden, but contrary to the lies of Fox News and Trump, the borders were NEVER open under Biden, and the Biden administration has been doing a way better job with immigration than most Americans know. In fact, according to the Migration Policy Institute:
Combining deportations with expulsions and other actions to block migrants without permission to enter the United States, the Biden administration’s nearly 4.4 million repatriations*** are already more than any single presidential term since the George W. Bush administration (5 million in its second term). [color/emphasis added]
In other words, Biden’s administration deported more migrants than Trump’s administration–but Fox News, the right-wing media & and much of the MSM has never reported this.
I just got described as an “ad hating commie” by someone because I said a minute of youtube ads is unpleasant. fully spent 5 minutes arguing and defending youtube ads. insane stuff
‘twist villain’ is always good of course but i’m such a sucker for ‘twist hero’. specifically as in they write a character to be as suspicious and unnerving as possible without really actually doing anything wrong yet but you just KNOW something is wrong but then surprise. they’re fine actually. all the alleged wrongdoings were either lies harmless or taken out of context. it’s even better if the suspicious aspects of their personality don’t go away after the reveal that they’re a good guy. they just act and look and talk like that for fun. they’re just a little silly
To this day the “Stan Is Not What He Seems” readflag is the coolest twist hero case I’ve ever seen.
