I was very sad that this post was three years old and figured it had fizzled, but i looked it up & found a wikipedia entry stating that “[p]rincipal photography began on October 5, 2024, in Hawaii and New Zealand” for their movie. Named “the Wrecking Crew” it has the following synopsis:
Two half-brothers, a loose cannon cop (Momoa) and a disciplined Navy SEAL (Bautista), must work together to unravel a conspiracy behind their father’s murder in Hawaii.
A lot of people are talking about South Korea’s president getting impeached, and the failure to get rid of Trump, but even aside from the major differences between these two countries and societies, the thing is that the system could have worked against Trump. He was never some powerful god. He got impeached twice, convicted in NY, and indicted in 3 separate federal cases. He got away with it because Republicans chose to bail him out. They’re the ones who refused to convict him in the Senate after his impeachments. They’re the ones on the Supreme Court who decided Trump should get to do crimes. Every step of the way, they’ve enabled and protected the monster they created. It’s not like the mechanisms weren’t there to stop Trump, it’s that Republicans have actively chosen to be terrible people and empower him this whole time. They could have stopped this years ago, and they own the erosion of American democracy.

It was all a lie. Planted by Russian intelligence agencies. Repeated by conservative media.
Republicans routinely use Russian propaganda.
