Yeah, she could’ve done this in her standard Sailor Moon form. Super form is overkill, really.
Sailor Moon is stronger than Goku. I don’t make the rules. Fight me about it.
What!? 👀
I’m on a still active forum, with a solid vs debate scene. Sailor Moon vs. the God-Emperor of Mankind from 40k is one of the most treasured threads there, as Sailor Moon trashed the guy.
a party of adventurers that are all equally convinced that they are in completely different forms of media
the mage keeps giving smug glances in the direction they assume a camera is in. the fighter keeps getting indignant about missing attacks because of “bad dice rolls.” the rogue is doubtful that a villain is gone for good because “nobody ever stays dead in comics.” the paladin attributes fortune to “good rng.” none of them have even considered that “tumblr post” was an option
theres bikes around the city you can rent but you have to use an app that needs your drivers license. theres buses that drive right to your destination, but if you dont have change you need the app. you can wash your car here if you sign into the app. you can go to the bathroom here you just have to unlock it with the app that needs your location on. you can order at this restaurant if you scan the code and download the app. im losing my freaking mind
I got my phone and wallet stolen once and the amount of things I couldn’t fucking do without The App was bonkers. I couldn’t order an Uber or the bus home because no phone or wallet, so I had to walk home based on directions written on a sticky note. I couldn’t do my laundry even though I had change in my apartment because my building’s laundry machines required The App. I couldn’t log into my school email because my school’s email requires two factor authentication and will ONLY take a phone number, not another email address. I had a hard as fuck time getting new cards set up with my bank because in order to do that I needed to log into The App. I couldn’t get any packages that were delivered to me because my building’s locker system was app based. So on and so forth.
We should not have this fucking single point of failure like this.
Sometimes I see people from countries with public healthcare systems post videos that are like “This is the reality of socialized medicine. I had to wait in the ER with my sick baby for 4 hours.” “I had to wait 8 months to see a specialist. That’s egregious.” or “They didn’t have a bed for my loved one in mental health treatment.” and it’s like. Come to America babygirl. You can experience all of this and have your insurance deny it and pay thousands and thousands of dollars for it. Like I know healthcare systems in countries with public health can be bad but when I see someone imply they’re bad because the healthcare is universal, I want to jump through the screen and put my elbow on their throat. “The NHS is deeply flawed, therefore we should abolish it and go back to private healthcare. That will definitely make healthcare in this country better!” I am going to Kill You.
Preserving prev’s tags here, because yes:
It’s a weird sort of “temporarily embarrassed millionaire” logic because people think “Oh if it was privatised then I could pay to jump the queue” and no, no you can’t you will never have that sort of money, ever.
You will never ever ever ever have Rich People Stuff because they deliberately keep it out of your peasant hands. Angry about that? Wanna rip it outta their greedy paws? Well congrats, you have an NHS, it’s already doing that. Now go eat the people trying to destroy it.
Also the reason you are left in the waiting room for four hours or whatever is because there are people sicker than you who are getting precedence.
I know that waiting sucks, but I promise that theyre not just leaving you waiting for the hell of it. It’s because there are people worse off than you who need to be seen first.
The moment that there is a bed and staff available, and no one more sick than you, you’ll be brought through. And yes there are absolutely issues with funding cuts reducing hospital capturing terms of both bed numbers and staffing, but that’s not the fault of the staff who I promise, are doing their utmost to bring you through as soon as possible.
99% of “mysterious disappearances” esp of people in their 20s who start acting weird for 48 hours and then vanish are not mysterious, thats just when a lot of reality-obliterating mental illness tends to kick in and it’s pretty easy to get a short circuit in your brain that makes you go family guy death pose in joshua tree national park. it’s not any less tragic, it’s just a documented phenomenon and not particularly predictable. its a big reason the medical advice is for people with a family history of schizophrenia to completely avoid weed and psychedelics. “people just go crazy sometimes” is a principle of human health that used to be a lot more accepted prior to the american midcentury and to a certain extent thats a healthier way to conceptualize and prepare for the risk, as opposed to the modern assertion that anyone acting weird is dangerous and broken forever.
you should have a rough outline of a plan for if any of your loved ones experiences psychosis, it really does happen a lot. UTIs can cause psychosis. taking drugs, even safe drugs, or prescription drugs, can cause psychosis. i was once prescribed a heavy regimen of vitamin D because i was deficient, but the doctor never told me to stop taking it, so i moved to california, stopped being deficient, and developed vitamin d toxicity with downstream hyperparathyroidism which triggered significant hypomania that was undetected and uncontrolled for yeeeeeeears. i just slowly got Weird and started making impulsive decisions based on slightly out-of-gamut beliefs. i drove cross country by myself to have a love affair. the love affair was real, the series of decisions leading to burning down my life in pursuit of it were based on not great brain function however. etc. you see what i mean. churchill mentioned depression being the “black dog who stalks us” (one reason for Churchgrim’s multi-referential name) but theres another, stealthier dog called Insanity and it’s closer to some people than others but man it sneaks up on you. every time i see one of those “guy gets weird and drives into the wilderness forever” missing persons stories i think “yeah i could totally pull that off”
“van gogh cut off his ear what a lunatic” you are 3 nights of bad sleep, getting unexpected upsetting news and taking a substance as benign as coffee at the wrong time away from doing the same hope this helps
