now that trump has tiktok, twitter, facebook and insta in his pocket, get ready for a massive wave of internet censorship. one of trump’s greatest weapons has always been misinformation; it’s going to become harder and harder to spread facts and criticism going forward. posts that aren’t made invisible will be magically ignored by the algorithm. dissidents will have their accounts deleted and voices erased.

this is a suppression tactic. this is another stage of fascism.

My dad was raised buddhist and when I watched bill and Ted with him he was like “these guys are unironically the most enlightened people on the planet. They are leaving Samsara for sure” and that man has never been more right about anything ever

We’ve had a cat fiasco

We’ve been trying to get this one feral cat spayed for months now because she keeps having kittens in our yard but she keeps evading us partially because her kittens eat first so they would get caught first so she’s not the one who springs our traps.

My brother’s most recent idea was to catch her two kittens, keep them in the garage for a few days while we catch her and get her spayed, and then get the kittens vaccinated. And the kittens know us so in theory we could catch them again to get them fixed later.

So we catch one cat but can’t catch the other. And then the cat we caught found a passage in the garage that leads underneath the house that we didn’t even know existed. We didn’t know there was a way to get under the house from the garage.

So then we have a cat trapped under our house. We can hear its mournful screams from inside the house. The cat is under the floorboards.

So my dad’s next idea was to open all the passages to under the house so the kitten could escape.

Well the kitten escaped. But now the other yard cats have decided to move in under the house. There’s cats under the floorboards again. We done fucked up.

We’ve already taken two cats into our house. That’s all we can afford to do. Nobody we know wants any cats. Every single shelter in our area that we’ve contacted is at maximum capacity. Our best bet for controlling this situation is to trap, neuter, and release these cats.

But instead of any of that working the cats have somehow managed to haunt us from underneath our floorboards.

Oh no
