hey it’s probably a really good idea to download a copy of your Master Promissory Note since most of them stipulate that your loans are *specifically owed to the Department of Education* and if you intend to dispute the debt in the wake of the DoE dissolving that will be really good to have

log in and then go to My Documents and download a copy of it. i’m serious. if trump dissolves the DoE entirely it may make the debt uncollectable depending on exactly how they do it, and he’s too stupid to listen to lawyers that tell him when he’s breaking the law. worst case you have an extra PDF on your computer. best case your student loans go away because you signed a contract to pay DoE and no one else. go download a copy.

TFW you’re a small Canadian business and the country 90% of your customers live in just made exporting to them way harder 🙃 so you have to change your tactics up a bit

Medieval font saying "Alas! A Trade War", under which an embroidered knight on a horse and looks extremely tired, saying, "Not this shitte agayn". Big promo scroll: "All Embroidery Patterns one half off." Signed, The Haberdasheress.ALT

Now at my Etsy shop

I sell stick-and-stitch embroidery patterns that are extremely easy to follow. They’re taken from medieval and 16th century embroidery, or designed by me. They can mend patches in your jeans, decorate your clothes, or help you build a new costume. Then when you’re done, just wash the pattern away!

It’s not propaganda it’s literally just human psychology

It’s easier to remember short specific problems (like two planes crashing into buildings) and more difficult to remember long vague problems (like 18 months of social distancing between covid becoming a pandemic and vaccines being widespread)

9/11 has been used for propaganda, yes, but you also need to think about what is easier to apply new processes to. There are more schools and hospitals than airports so it’s easier to implement changes in airports. There are more people than airline passengers so it’s easier to add screening to airline passengers than it is to get everyone to wear a mask

One-Of-A-Kind Orange Snowy Owl Leaves Scientists Scratching Their Heads

Wildlife photographer Julie Maggert has been taking pictures of snowy owls for years.

So when she heard that a strange, orange-colored snowy owl had been spotted flying around Michigan’s Thumb area, she knew she had to see the bird for herself.

Maggert drove two hours out to where the owl had been observed. Before long, she spotted her in the middle of a field. She couldn’t believe her eyes — she really was orange…

HANA YAGI ‘Sanguine Bride’ Collection 2024
if you want to support this blog consider donating to:ko-fi.com/fashionrunways

This collection was created by reconstructing wedding dresses and white kimono that had been rented out at wedding halls and then discarded due to damage. In Japan, there is a story that one of the reasons why wedding dresses are white is to express a woman’s purity and innocence and her intention to be dyed by the family she marries into. The dresses were deconstructed, reconnected and dyed with the intention of challenging the patriarchal norms of the wedding ritual. Once dead, the wedding dresses are reincarnated, brought back to life by letting blood flow through them.
