Ok, those of you who said the economic blackout wouldn’t do anything, here’s a longer term thing to do, called for by Black clergy members.
We’re not shopping at Target folks. How we spend our money in a system that requires us to endlessly consume is a solid tool to lean in on. I don’t think that the current administration actually cares about “the economy” in the way that past ones have, but I can tell you that Target’s shareholders and c-suite REALLY care about how you spend your money.
