I applaud your effort to make your elected officials listen even in a state run by incompetent and treacherous Republican assclown weasels, so, yes. called my reps about SB9 (Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act aka trans ban) and the whole TX legislature came across as a hot mess. I first called Senator Cornyn’s office. They told me this was a state bill and to call my local TX senator. I called Senator Angela Paxton’s office twice. The second time, I was told it was a federal bill and to call Ted Cruz. I left voicemails on both the numbers they gave me. I’m asking any other TX constituents to flood these offices with calls and voicemails. John Cornyn is a sponsor of this bill and we don’t need
