Talking to a ‘leftist’ about organizing. He’s telling me about how the food system is going to collapse and we have to work towards food sovereignty and the democratizing/distributing of food systems (which, if you know me, creating distributed food production systems is like my pet cause).
I ask how he’s working towards that, and he said he’s devoted the last year to learning a skill that will make him independent of corporations and the government. Intrigued, I ask what skill that is.
